The Minneapolis police officer who fatally shot Justine Damond is now behind bars and charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
Deputies are trained to "first, interrupt the shooter," but the initial officer at the Parkland school shooting didn't do that, a top sheriff's official said.
The sheriff said the revelation made him "sick to my stomach. There are no words I mean these families lost their children."
